Being a DJ & Music Producer playing & making Music that makes people get up and dance is what it’s all about for Steve Ricochet as a DJ/ Producer he has a long standing appreciation of music and possesses the ability to tune in, work the crowd and create a magical vibe second to none with his unique sound. Influenced in the late 80’s by the London rave scene Steve’s first got involved with Dance music when he started going out to Acid & House raves back in the late 1980s. He used to go partying at the weekend and hear all this new innovative dance music from the like of Carl Cox, Grooverider, Trevor Fung etc then go out and buy the vinyl of the types of music he had been listening too. During his career as a DJ/Producer Steve’s has steadily built up his musical knowledge and technical experience, his music ranged from early the early House sound of the 80’s through to Techno ,Hardcore, Drum & Bass & back to House music again which has gained him extreme credibility and seen him perform at some of London best clubs and regular trips to Warsaw in Poland where he has performed at Club Space, Mono Bar & more recently at Lemonaida owned by Adamus one half of the Polish Dance act Wet Fingers. From 2006 to the current day he has been working with the legendary Producer/Engineer Dave Parkinson producing a string of hits one of Steve’s most popular tracks is “The Real Life” (aka) a remix of Queen’s legendary Bohemian Rhapsody it was released in 2007 on Rampant Records under the name Electronique. His forth coming single for 2011 can only be describe as pure Funky Disco filtered House at its best and is guaranteed to rock any dance floor. Past Productions includes singer Marcella Woods & Mc Creed producing song titled “I’ll Be Your Friend” a Remix of Goldie “Classic Terminator” to name a few. Radio has been another area he enjoys working regularly with his House Vibrations Global Show on Passionfmlive on Monday nights 8pm - 10pm. Privious Radio work included working alongside DJ C Chloe Fontaine on London’s Westside Radio presenting the critical breakout show now on a Thursday night. Other radio stations Steve has been involved in are Mint FM where he presented his House of dirty funk show and has presented guest shows on Point Blank 108 FM, BBA Radio and Love FM. Steve Ricochet is constantly strengthening and expanding. This is one diverse DJ not to be missed. ..
